Assend Bald Peak to fire tower, desend Ledges Trail. We used 2 cars, dropped one at Ledges lot & took other to Bald Peak lot & hiked.
We used 2 cars, dropping one at ledges lot, 2nd at bald peak lot, & hiked up & over the 4 miles across the top of Pleasant Mountain, down ledges trail to the cars. We used snow shoes across the top, and crampons with gators for the rest. Entire trail's in great shape, well packed power. Could have left the snow shoes in the car. Beautiful hike in best of winter conditions! |
