 | Comments: |
Up the ski trails was straight forward, The Horn is a different story. The cold between the two is deep and steep. There are lot of drifts, inadvertent butt slides/slips and spruce traps...not to mention the consistent 30+ mph wind (with little to no wind forecasted). There are rocky and icy sections in the col but you will want snowshoes for the pow.
We brought sleds for the descent back the ski trails...it was not as good as hoped. Lots of too steep or icy sections for a sled but there were a few good runs. |
