Parking/Access Road Notes: The Parking lot is only plowed 2 car widths wide from the road to the back. Keep this in mind you'll either have to back in or go in and turn around. It was a bit tight, best policy is to get there early before other hikers.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a Platypus water bag on our way down, I stood it up and left a note, hopefully the gents that dropped it picked it up.

Comments
Comments: Trail conditions were pretty good. We got there early and were the first ones on site. There's a bit of a snowbank to climb over to get up to the trail from parking lot. Old tracks were obscured by the recent rain and warm weather. When we were starting there was an ice shelf that let go on the Eyebrow and caused a small rock slide. This does not affect the Old Speck trail but it was intense. Trail markers can be buried under snow still so just pay attention, we went the wrong way a couple times but quickly corrected. Snow is still roughly 3-3.5 foot high, so when you get to the tree line you might have to crawl at least 3 or 4 times. We used our snow shoes the entire way, although some other's chose to wear only spikes. We passed 2 groups on our way down so the trail was nicely packed, a few post holes in the lower parts but not bad. We were also soaking wet by the end.
