| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All 4 water crossings on this 4 mile section of the A.T. have wooden bridges. There was some flooding from the West Branch of the Penobscot River at one 0.1 mile section that was easily bushwacked. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
This is my section of the A.T. that I maintain for the Maine A.T. Club. I cleared broken branches and about 45 small blowdowns with a handsaw. There are about 15 chainsaw blowdowns that I will clear on my next trip in mid May. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
This section of the A.T. is in Baxter State Park where pets are not allowed. Even Governor Baxter, a dog lover, who bought this land and donated it to the people of Maine, did not bring his dogs into the park. |
| Bugs: |
None. |
| Lost and Found: |
Nothing. |
