Comments
Comments: The directions to this trailhead as listed on the 4000footers page was perfect! No issues getting to parking area. Walk lapprox 1/2 mile past yellow gate to 2 cairns on each side of road indicating Appalachian trail crossover. Take right onto the AT. The weather was beautiful and the trail was easy up to intersection of campsite. Some random patches of snow after that until incline. Once past the open rock section (easy walk across) you will go back into woods and that is where the post hole fun begins all the way to the summit. The hike was relatively easy except for the post holing, which then slowed us down quite a bit. Will hike this again when there is no snow so we can peak bag North Crocker and Redington. Photos from this trip posted on NE 100 Highest page.
