The trail from Vernon Street to the ledges is in excellent shape and well marked. This and the trail to near by Round would be great additions to the AMC Maine Mountain Guide. |

I took the trail to the ledges, which are on the west side, above the Round Col. Very nice viewpoint. I then bushwhacked up on to the ridge and followed it all the way to the spot elevation point. Highpoint is recognized. The woods varied quite a bit, with some sudden transitions. Some thick regrowth, but never too bad. |
