| Comments: |
parts of the trail were quite wet and greasy early on today. higher up the more exposed ledges were drier, but still required care. the trail was pretty well flagged and generally easy to follow. the ropes to aid travel through the chimney portion were in good condition and we used them to our advantage especially on the descent. i question if i could have safely gotten through this section without them. some great views in multiple points on the route and from near the summit. this is one of those trails that lives up to its reputation and shouldn't be underestimated. quite a spectacular setting. |
