| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I used Rocket21's description and drove in on Townline road and Heald Pond (both signed). I drove up between the ponds and then a short distance along the south slope of the peak. The trail is well marked with a sign and a cairn. There is room to pull off. With care, I had no problem getting to the trailhead in a small car. |

Foot bed is ill-defined in places, but the trail is well marked. There is a sign at the trailhead and signs along the way. I met two people doing maintenance. |

| Comments: |
At the top, the first bump has a very nice view. A herd path leads to the highpoint where their are solar panels and antennas and to a helicopter pad. There is a register under the landing pad. This would be a great addition to the ME mountain guide. There was a sign for a trail from the west, from Deer Bog accessed by Rt. 201. |
