Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Several that were all easy rock hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: This trail does have about a dozen big trees across the trail scattered throughout, but it is easy to walk around or over or under them. I cleared many branches off of the trail with my hiking stick. Someone has cleared some of the waterbars but there are more that need cleaning. I also clipped back some branches as I hiked.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None
Bugs: Many no see-ums and mosquitoes that were annoying.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing
Comments: A nice day to stay down low in the woods and near water. Temps from 60 to 80 with a light breeze at times, sunny sky and hot and humid. No other hikers on this trail today. This trail is lightly used and the footpath is not always easily seen. There are yellow blazes but they seem to be spaced out rather widely so it is easy to be off trail as I was a couple of times. I looked ahead for yellow blazes and seeing none I also looked behind to make sure I was still on the trail. A nice day to be in the woods.
