This trail is not as rugged as everyone seems to think it is. It's also not as steep as many online sources say it is. Anyways, we weren't in the greatest shape (this was us getting back in the saddle), so we stopped at the East Peak and left the Middle and West Peaks for another day. Everything was a little damp for the rain yesterday, a few pockets of mud and slick spots. Great day, felt a bit like Autumn. Hiking in August doesn't get any better... |
