Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction, Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues with water. Some spots were muddy after the sun came out.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in great condition.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs would be fine most of the way up. The icy patches could cause some issues, but they could scramble to the right or left of the areas.
Bugs: Zero
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Clear of debri from what I saw.
Comments: Recommend some traction this time of year! I sadly saw many able-bodied groups turn around due to bare boots. My buddy and I cruised to the top with a pair of Kahtoolas and Hillsounds, easily gripping into the large blankets of clear ice. Previous years we had some lower level Renys Stabilicers and still made it to the top with ease. Great day to be out in the woods! The Ledges and White Mnt views never disappoint.
