Ha! Did not even realize someone on this forum just went to this mountain. Ah well. Here’s another report.
Cruddy roads couldn’t keep us away from this local gem. The trail is VERY well blazed in red-orange paint and orange diamonds nailed to trees. Signs at key junctions/ re-routes are excellent. This is a much cared for trail.
There was approximately 3 inches of fresh powder on the trail which was simple to traverse in our snowshoes. There was also a large headless snowman on the open slabs near the summit. I mean LARGE. Cool. |
