Comments
Comments: 6 inches of fresh powder for the four of us to tamp down in snowshoes on the way up to the tower. Saw two others and one dog headed up as we were coming down. Humans had snowshoes. Good traction was needed in a few spots of steep stepping where the snow wasn't deep and you got down to the ice underneath. Otherwise fluffy and gentle on the way up and smooth on the way down. Good butt sledding or riding the tails of your snowshoes. Did not climb the tower with the winds and the lack of view in the clouds. Parking lot was well plowed. Also met 3 guys at the upper junction with Eyebrow who said it was gnarly on the way up, but they were having fun and going to loop down to the parking lot via the AT.
