Comments
Comments: From junction of Elephant Mt Rd and Birch Brook Rd we followed Birch Brook Rd (snowmobile trail) for about .75 mile. Turned right on first obvious road which leads to the summer trail head - 1.75 mile (seems like forever especially on the way down). At summer trail head we followed orange flagging up an old road (someone had snowmobiled up until they had to turn around) to where flagging indicates where to start the bushwhack. Our trail pretty much follows the flagging with a bit of meandering. We did not go through much if any thick stuff and came out at the canister. About 8 miles.
