What an amazing adventure in BSP! Thanks to Yukon for organizing. Pamola graced us with amazing weather. Hiked into roaring first day, the up to chimney pond second. Successful summit attempt made on Monday, weather was amazing. Trails are a little choppy to treeline but after that it was nice! Some sections of bulletproof ice but avoidable. Someone has put wands up for winter whack utilization coming off Hamlin to table lands. Had summits all to ourselves. We went down the winter version of saddle, the entryway down below is flagged. Saddle trail from there to the hut is choppy. You might be able to get away without snowshoes, but you definitely want to bring your axe! |
