Blue blaze trail, white blaze trail, yellow blaze trail, red blaze trail.
This was my first time on these trail so that’s why I went with the color blazes because I’m not sure on the names. Started on blue blaze trail from Hiram hill road parking. Connected to the white blaze trail then yellow to front ledges. Nice view of Hiram and 113 crossing the Saco River. Then I took the red blaze trail, which had nice views on the ridge walk, all the way to the Notch before the true summit. I bushwhacked you to the true summit and “ wow “ the views from there were amazing. Panoramic. Put rock spikes on for the descent. Then I followed the red trail back to where the blue blaze trail connects and took that back down to the car. If I had to do it again I would go up the blue blaze trail.... that is steep. Trails are in great shape.... thank you to the folks who maintain them... ✌🻠Great trails. |
