| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Frenchtown rd before the village of Kokadjo is an excellent gravel road that you travel for 13 miles on. Excellent. Any car would be fine. Parking is NEXT to the gate (don't block the gate!!!) blocking Logan Brook Rd. Just follow directions in the Guide. You will find it. Parking roadside can hold maybe 3-4 cars. |

| Comments: |
Today's rain did not deter us from completing the Pinnacle Pursuit challenge set forth by the tourism division of the Moosehead region. This was the last of the 6 peaks covering this vast, wild section of the southern Katadhin region.
Despite the wet, this is a nice section of the AT. The footpath is straightforward and blazes are visible. There is a spring at the start of the trail and a reliable water source at the shelter. The Guide says this mountain has one of the best views in the state but I could not confirm this as the clouds obscured all views. Alas... Another day.
