Drive in on Caribou Pond Rd is relatively smooth...average cars should have no issues. Parking at gate filled up by 10am with parallel parking back down the road. |

Easily crossed S Branch Carrabassett on large rocks and installed "board bridge". |

No significant blow downs that can't be easily stepped over or around. |

#63 on my NE67 list!!
A fair amount of mud, standing water, and slick rocks/roots after recent rains. Straightforward trail to hike. Summit of Sugarloaf offers great views all around. |
