There are no trail names that we found, but the main trail is an old colonial road. There are many side trails too. Trails are easy to follow and well packed down. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Seen a few while we were there. Ms. Brandi had a ball and slept well last night. LOL |

| Bugs: |
Bring bug spray, mosquitoes were a bit of a pain. |

This place was a cool little gem. The best Balancing Rock we have seen to date is located here. There are remains of an old homestead, plus a few places for views. To be fair the views are not that good this time of year. Probably better in the Fall with no leaves. We found a total of 4 cemeteries, 3 were old colonial ones. The namesake of the area, Orris Falls were just a trickle right now due to lack of rain, but still cool to see. We were able to get 8 of the 9 geocaches here also. Definitely a place to get some exercise in without a lot of people there, at least when we were there. We did post our usual video on our YouTube channel for anyone interested in seeing what the place and the hike looks like. Just click the link... |
