Great day for this hike... Piazza rock & caves was interesting & fun. Ethel & Eddy ponds are gems and the hike up Saddleback entering the alpine zone is one of the best hikes in the region. Rocks & slabs were dry making for great footing and the views were panoramic.... Mt. Washington in the clear with so many other mountains and lakes. Little breezy, top wind gust hit 25mph but temp hovered around 50 degrees so my R1 was perfect. Excellent day, 12+ miles ✌🻠|
