We got to the Katahdin Stream Campground parking lot around 6:30am on Tuesday after camping in BSP the night before. No reservation required, if you are camping in the park the night before. The Ranger just told us to get to the parking lot before 7am the day we want to hike. |

Trail was very well marked and easy to follow, even on the boulders above treeline. There is an outhouse around the 1.1 mile mark or so on the Hunt Trail.
Unfortunately, no views for us today, as the summit was socked in the clouds. The clouds/fog made the rocks slippery. |
