| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There's a blowdown at 3450 ft altitude that must be crawled under. Larger packs have to be taken off and dragged. The blowdown could be removed with a long collapsible pack saw.
Lots of face slappers and eye-pokers that would benefit from someone spending a couple of hours with a lopper. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
One spot required a back-end lift for our 11 year old Labrador. |

| Comments: |
We had the mountain to ourselves on a bluebird Sunday. Meanwhile trails not far to the south were packed.
Success Pond Rd was closed about 1.5 miles north of the trailhead. Access only from the Berlin NH end of the road. |
