A few off leashes.... one come up behind me after going by me but I slowed him down with my hiking pole in his face... I asked owner if he believed in leashing his dog.... he said he had one but refused to leash it.... didn’t think there was many people on the trail but I was the first one up and on my way down I passed 20-25 people 🤦ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸ |

1st one up to the fire tower.... 360 views... still some color but well past peak. Pretty decent steep climb but I found enjoyable. I chilled out at the overlook just before the summit for 40 minutes then headed down... that’s when I ran into many people on their way up. Beautiful weather, pretty color down low, enjoyable straight forward trail.... I recommend this 1.6 mile hike to a great summit. |
