Comments
Comments: Felt weird starting out with boots on, but by the time I started up Horn's Pond trail, I was glad to have them and thrilled the rest of the hike. Snow piles up fast. 6-8" for most of the higher elevations, with some deeper drifts up on the ridge. Lots of melting slush and running water on the way down Firewardens.
