Water crossing were high, but crossable without too much trouble |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two large trees across the trail between the trailhead and intersection with Horns pond trail. 5-6 big blowdowns from the intersection up to the Horns. |

Saw two. Only one scared me |

Felt weird starting out with boots on, but by the time I started up Horn's Pond trail, I was glad to have them and thrilled the rest of the hike. Snow piles up fast. 6-8" for most of the higher elevations, with some deeper drifts up on the ridge. Lots of melting slush and running water on the way down Firewardens. |
