Comments
Comments: Parked at the end of the road (Caribou Valley /Caribou Pond Road--I have seen it called both) and then walked about 10 min to the beginning of the AT on the left. Water crossing near the beginning. Pretty steep and short rock scramble up the first part of the trail. It was wet and some short showers this morning, and then cleared up later. At AT intersection, went right to Spaulding--easy hike for 2 miles and then 150 yds that were steep to the peak. Backtracked to intersection and then up Sugarloaf. The peak was super windy and in a cloud...unfortunately missed what is apparently some wonderful views on Sugarloaf. Great day!
