An afternoon hike up Bannock Mountain and visit to the casacdes on Lemon Stream in Industry.
The snowmobile club had driven a snowcat down the trail to clear it of blowdowns. It also left two packed paths on the trail so snowshoes were not needed, but I would recommend microspikes because it was a bit slippery. Bannock is a great easy hike and the views from the summit are best this time of year without and leaves on the trees.
Before heading back, I stopped at Lemon Stream to see the ice formations that the cascades were creating as they froze. |
