Comments
Comments: Skied in on the North Rd. to the Big Moose Mountain trailhead. From there, barebooted up and back. Light traction would have be safer in a couple of spots but we managed fine without. An older set of snowshoe tracks went in as far as the old cabin. Most of the way there was about 5 inches of very dry powder. On the final 1/4 mile ridge to the summit the snow was drifted, anywhere from 6 to 14 inches deep. We definitely rototilled that ridge section up, but with the dry powder and wind on the ridge, it is likely filled back in already.
