Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked at the Sugarloaf golf course. We then walked the road down the hill to the water treatment building. The trail starts there at the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue up the steep hill. This will lead you to where the trail bushwhacks through the woods for a mile. You will have 1.5 miles on the CVR to get to the AT crossing. My watch ended up dying but I am figuring a good 13-14 miles. Took about 9 hours.

Comments
Comments: Bushwhacked from the sugarloaf golf course to the CVR. Followed CVR to the AT crossing to hit South Crocker.

Highly recommend snowshoes! We wore ours from start to finish! The trail is isn’t frozen enough for spikes.
