Comments
Comments: It was a cold one for sure. 1 degree in the parking lot when we started around 8:30. We were the first ones up. The trail was consolidated but still soft. Snowshoes were the pick for the day. We rebroke the trail up high where it was well drifted over. The snow is crusty and provides excellent traction. Temps were sub zero above 3000 feet. Some barebooters came up behind us and we tried to smooth their tracks as best as we could on our way down. The trail is still not ready for spikes.
