Hiked from the Gilead Maine side. Look for sign for Pooh corners farm off Rte 2 Parking is just pass the farm cleared area for 5 cars; 1/2 mile walk up the road to the summer trailhead |

| Comments: |
Road to trailhead and beyond along fire road is frozen granular; once leaving the fire road eventually transitions to packed powder. No trail blazes but trail is obvious and well packed. Given the powder snowshoes were the best option especially after you start ascending uphill in earnest. great views as always. A nice winter route to this great peak. |
