Comments
Comments: Took the cart path to the 11th tee then wore snowshoes start to finish. Bushwhack to CVR is heavily flagged with blue surveyors tape, well trodden and easy to follow. Minimal post holes here and there. The CVR is a well used snowmobile interstate. AT trail heads (both sides of CVR) are not signed but flagged with orange. They can be easily missed. AT had been recently used by skiers the 1 mile to the cirque and pond. The trail is well packed but the soft and wet snow was balling up under my snowshoes.

Snow was 4-6” deep from the steeps to the South Crocker summit and into the col. From the col to Crocker was mostly float on top hardpack with occasional drifting.

Returned the way I came. The trail is in great shape. Go get this one!
