Comments
Comments: Where do I begin? This trail had a little bit of everything.
Started the hike with spikes and they were beneficial. You could bare boot but the slushy/melting snow makes it super slippery. After hitting the ledges, you can remove spikes and bare boot to the summit. Keeping the spikes on will only dull them. Lots of exposed rock, mud, slushy snow from the ledges to the summit. Just before the summit the snow is mush and a little deep - good to have gaiters for this hike. Summit had lots of mud around the sign. Caught a beautiful sunset!!
