The Eyebrow Trail was very nice and a lot easier than the Old Speck Trail. For the 50 feet more in elevation it is worth hiking. The Old Speck Trail was nice and gradual the rest of the way up. For the amount of cars in the parking lot there weren't many people on the trail. There was one person in the fire tower when we got to the top around 330pm. We followed the Old Speck Trail all the way down and passed a couple of groups heading up. Today was a gorgeous day with, quoting a man we passed on the trail, "365 degree views from atop the tower." |
