| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Caribou Valley (Pond) Road in tough shape. Parked just before metal bridge and walked 10 minutes to trailhead. There is a parking spot on left before the bridge that will fit about 5 cars. I would not attempt this with a low ground clearance vehicle. |

Great views today. Glad I tooked the AT route rather than Sugarloaf. There were some very interesting views on the AT below the spur. Loved looking at the slide/ravine paralleling the trail. Not many on the trails today, but did see 3 thru hikers, a 4 person trail crew and 4 others. Awesome hike. |
