Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossing on Baldface Circle Trail was a little high today, feet got pretty wet. However, wet feet did not matter much as the rest of the trail pretty wet too. Definitely spring :)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A number of blowdowns that were easy to navigate on Baldface Circle Trail. Blowdowns on Meader Ridge Trail were plentiful and some were a challenge to navigate around. I did notice that someone has been out there doing some trail maintenance so I am sure the hard ones to navigate will be gone soon. A couple on Mt. Meader Trail but those were easy to navigate.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw nobody (human or animal) until Mount Meader. Saw 1 dog on that trail.
Bugs
Bugs: Not too bad on the hike. They were hungry at the parking lot though

Comments
Comments: Hit 2 of the 52WAV hikes today with Eagle Crag and Meader. Did a loop of it by going up Baldface Circle Trail (the northern side of the trail) and over to Meader via Meader Ridge Trail. I saw nobody until Meader Mountain. Trails were a little challenging because of blowdowns and wet/muddy spots but that's what spring hiking is all about. Getting a little dirty :) Happy Hiking All!
