Comments
Comments: Would advise against doing this hike during the week, as there is a lot of construction going on (ski trails/a lift are being constructed on Merrill Hill). Did not see anyone this afternoon.

Existing ski trails/access road were mostly dry. The initial Merrill Hill Trail stretch was muddy, as it's being used by four wheelers and skidders. The dirt road portion after the big view goes through an active logging yard. The steep above that is now bisected by new ski trails, so it's not particularly obvious (and has a big embankment to climb). The construction stops short of the summit/view ledge.
