Comments
Comments: The hiking conditions were great today. Meant to go up Saddleback and then hit Saddleback horn too, but incoming thunderstorms made us turn around. Some mud and wet areas so expect to get mud on your shoes and wet feet, but nothing bad. Small patches of snow on sides of most trails on Saddleback make for fun sliding down. Easily avoidable on the way up. The snow itself does not post hole, but is slippery and slushy as typical spring conditions are. Once above tree level, no snow. Great conditions and great day on the mountain!
