| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lot probably holds 8-10 cars. No other cars at 8:00 AM on Monday, three other cars at 11:00 AM. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |

| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Nice bridges, no other crossings worth mentioning. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Several trees leaning over the trail, all walk-unders or easy duck-unders.
Red blazes are not frequent, but usually there when I needed one, like when old woods roads intersect the trail. However, there is one spot, up past the halfway point, where there is a fork, with a white blaze(??) and no indication of which way to go. The left fork seems to be the correct one. |

| Bugs: |
Black flies were circling, but DEET kept them from landing or biting. |

| Comments: |
This is a nice easy-to-moderate hike, rewarded with a great view from the summit. There are no real views from the trail itself, but it is a pleasant walk in the woods. Easy hiking, with no scrambling or real steep sections. Trail was mostly dry. There were a few wet rocks that were surprisingly slippery, but mostly avoidable. |
