Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nice bridges, no other crossings worth mentioning.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several trees leaning over the trail, all walk-unders or easy duck-unders. Red blazes are not frequent, but usually there when I needed one, like when old woods roads intersect the trail. However, there is one spot, up past the halfway point, where there is a fork, with a white blaze(??) and no indication of which way to go. The left fork seems to be the correct one.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies were circling, but DEET kept them from landing or biting.

Comments
Comments: This is a nice easy-to-moderate hike, rewarded with a great view from the summit. There are no real views from the trail itself, but it is a pleasant walk in the woods. Easy hiking, with no scrambling or real steep sections. Trail was mostly dry. There were a few wet rocks that were surprisingly slippery, but mostly avoidable.
