Very good shape…. Even the lightly used Jackson Mountain trail is in great shape. |

Yes…. Unfortunately I ran into a unleashed barking dog a little to close for my comfort. I held my poles out to keep it at bay… the dog owner said it was only barking because I had my poles out…. Uhm, excuse me… the reason I have my poles out is because it’s barking at me and not leashed. 🤦ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸ |

Pleasant hike to both these peaks… North was blue sky and white puffy clouds… west and south was very cloudy and east was in between lol. Really a nice day. Jackson Mountain ledges are very cool. I love the views from there. Trail easy to follow to summit. On way down back to the col I ran into a spruce grouse ruffling it’s feathers at me. The hike up to Little Jackson is awesome with panoramic views. 360 views from summit… 44 degrees at summit but very pleasant with my R2 on and light winds. Great hike ✌🻠|
