Superduper views from the fire tower viewing platform. 4 people sitting on the south facing ledges. Helicopter comes crusing in, yep landed right there in the flat grassy area by the communications building. Surprise we are here from VT forestry bringing the tech to the towers! There is a nice view point just before the summit well worth visiting. Good 3k peak to hit on way back home. Checked out the falling down fire warden's cabin. Nice to be able to do this on a week day before school lets out, a couple more people headed we met on our way back down. Lew was here again. |
