This is on a working farm, which the owners have been kind enough to create trails and allow use. Not sure what their rules are about dogs. |

NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, not sure how new, because I couldn't go to this area last year (no MA residents in Maine, and the road here passes through Maine to get here). Nice kiosk with map on it and maps in a mailbox, along with a donation box for upkeep. There was also a sign, "Please eat blueberries," which we did. They are on the way in. Most of the trails here are easy and flat, Moose Alley does have some elevation. Pretty mix of woods, at one point you come out to a tiny pond called "Sully's Pond," which I think is named for their dog. This would be a great walk for those who don't really hike that much, or maybe for young children. They encourage snowshoeing and cross country in the winter.
Thank you, Notch View Farm, for your kindness in creating and maintaining these trails. |
