Comments: Started early 6:30am up Parker ridge trail… once I broke above tree line I could see little & big Jackson in the clouds…. Cloud ceiling was just above 3000 ft. First 2 people I saw was going up east peak… then I went over to west peak which I noticed the Jackson’s were out of the clouds and the low ceiling was breaking up to beautiful blue sky’s with a high cloud ceiling. Then after coming off west peak not far from the summit I took a left at a rock cairn and I followed a herd path easy to follow with cairns over to north peak. Annimometer recorded a max wind speed of 38.5 mph and wind chill was around 36-38 degrees. I was a consistent wind so I got chilly… I’m glad I had my R1 on…. Views are stunning from north peak. Then I backtracked the way I came. A few people here and there from west to Parker ridge then just maybe 5 people on Park ridge trail. Not as busy as I thought it would be…. I did meet a forest ranger on his way up checking to make sure there is no over night camping… I didn’t see any evidence there was any going on recently. Great day ✌🏻
