Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the end of Bog Road at the gate. Room for about 5 vehicles. I was the first this morning and the only one there when I left at 10:45.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue on this route.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Some step-overs, and one duck-under. The Mud Brook Trail from the jct at the col to the summit could use a haircut.

Comments
Comments: First time doing Caribou from the Bog Road side. Nice route, open woods, and good footing the whole way. If you don't mind the out and back, a good alternative to beat the crowds. No views today. Socked in with mild temps and no wind.
