Abundant sunshine - happy for the early start to avoid the afternoon surge heading up. Haven’t seen blueberry bushes displaying a fabulous crimson color in a decade. Peak foliage seems surreal:) Hiked with our friend Jeff. Sandwort, chatter marks, lichen, and all things glacial including the diet of dinosaurs, who dined upon conifers and ferns. Quite handy hiking with a Maine Master Naturalist! |
