Parked on Caribou Pond Rd before gate. Road was passable today but only if you have 4WD and good tires. Much more snow and you could be asking for trouble. If you want it, now is the time before more snowfall or rain up that way! |

Solo hike via the road and old skidder trails. Was broken and packed out. Wore snowshoes the whole way. Signs of some cross country skiers. Saw a flying squirrel, cat tracks and lots of moose tracks. If you go, bring paper pad for Redington canister— I forgot. |
