Comments
Comments: A great day out - nice and sunny skies - great views up top and from the tower. Temps were actually starting to get cool up top - fall is just around the corner. Quite a number of mud patches along the entire trail but generally easy to get around or through though boots will probably get muddy. Rocks were wet in many stretches along the entire trail but weren't slippery with decent boots/shoes- Given this is the AT much of the trail is worn down to bedrock. A number of people out today including a fair number of through hikers.
