| Dog-Related Notes: |
Due to how crowded the Jordan Pond Trail is and the fact that you’ve got to walk on boardwalks along the western edge of the pond, I wouldn’t recommend bringing your dog unless you do it at a time you know won’t be crazy busy. Out of the hundred(s?) of people we only saw a few dogs. |

An afternoon hike after a bit of morning rain and before the afternoon/evening rain came. Very, very crowded hike along the pond. Still very popular but not as crazy along Bubbles Divide. Heading up Bubbles Divide from the east is a nice moderate ascent with good footing. Descending to the west is steeper, longer, and with much poorer footing, climbing down over many large rocks. Definitely felt like a trail in the White Mountains, lol. A misty walk around the pond for most of the time. Not too windy and temps around 60. Gravelly trail along the east side of the pond underneath some minor rock slides that were cool to look up at, and more wild woods with a very impressive set of big bridges on the west side. Trail was wet from rain but not real slippery. The big bridges have some staples in them to help with traction. |
