Comments
Comments: We hit this in the afternoon, having done Saddlebacks in the morning. Trail conditions were, although wet from the weather. No issues at all with any of the marked AT. The bushwhack wasn’t bad at all, but just takes a tiny bit of focus to be sure you’re on track. The herd path begins just to the right of the summit and view. There is even orange and pink survey tape and an occasional yellow blaze marking the way. At the intersection with the boundary line trail we went left (uphill) then a right back into the woods about a quarter mile up. It was a pretty easy trip as far as bushwhacks go.
