Comments
Comments: Second hike of the day and last hike of our vacation to Acadia! I ascended via Eliot Mtn Trail doing and out-and-back along Richard Trail to Thuya Garden along the way. Eliot Trail was a nice ascent to the summit. Passes through some very nice woods down low. Thuya Gardens looked beautiful too! From the summit, I took Charles Savage Trail down to Richard Trail which I did an out-and-back on to Eliot Mtn Trail. I then continued along Charles Savage Trail to Harbor Brook Trail which I followed out to Rt 3 which I walked for 0.2mi back to my car. Trails were dry. 3.75mi with about 500ft of gain, taking 1.5hrs.
