Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Rock hoppable at present levels, but probably not much fun at high water.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: We took out a couple of blowdowns on the Caribou side and cut out an annoying one on the Mud Brook side. A few larger ones remain on the Mud Brook side. Blazes on ledges could use refreshing to minimize trail creep and herd path formation. Brushing needed up high.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Not too bad, probably because of mild temperatures and a breeze.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Trails were generally dry, apart from mud bogs on lower Mud Brook Trail.

Beautiful day with temperatures starting in the 50s and hitting the mid 60s by lunchtime under sunny skies and breezy winds. Not too crowded, probably in part due to not being on any prominent lists (Baldface lot was already overflowing by 8:45).
